What length ground spike do I need?
This depends on the surface and the size of your flag. For soft ground (like sand) we recommend at least 80 cm. For firmer ground (like grass) 60 cm is often sufficient. For large beach flags (3+ meters) we recommend longer spikes for extra stability.
Are the ground spikes suitable for hard surfaces?
Our fiberglass ground spikes are specially designed for soft surfaces like grass, sand and loose soil. For hard surfaces like concrete or asphalt, we recommend a ground plate or cross base.
How deep should I place the ground spike in the ground?
For optimal stability we recommend placing at least 2/3 of the length in the ground. In windy conditions or with large flags, it's better to place the entire spike in the ground.
Can I reuse the ground spike?
Yes, our fiberglass ground spikes are durable and can be reused for years with proper maintenance. Rinse them after use and store them in a dry place.
